FurHQ Zen Wrap
The Zen Wrap is a soft, stretchy band that gently swaddles your dog’s head and ears, and that light compression has an almost immediate calming effect. During the Dry step it does double duty — settling an anxious dog while muffling the loud sound of force drying, which is the scariest part of the groom for many dogs. But it’s not just for the dryer: reach for it any time your dog needs to calm down, and well beyond grooming too — for thunderstorms, fireworks, and other sound triggers that send a dog into a panic.
Key Benefits
- Calms as it hugs — gentle, swaddling compression helps an anxious dog settle and stay still, in or out of the bath
- Muffles loud sound — covers the ears to soften force drying and other noises that unsettle so many dogs
- Good well beyond grooming — the same calming effect helps with thunderstorms, fireworks, nail trims, and car rides
- Slip the wrap over your dog’s head and down onto the neck.
- Lay the ears flat against the head, then slide the band up to hold them in place.
- It should feel snug but never tight — stretchy enough to fit comfortably.
- Use during drying, or any stressful moment in or out of grooming — like thunderstorms or fireworks — and take it off once your dog is calm.
How to measure: Wrap a soft tape around your dog's head, over the ears and under the chin.
- XS · 8–10" head: Teacup and toy breeds, and puppies
- Small · 10–13" head: Toy to small breeds
- Large · 13–18" head: Small to medium-large breeds (our most versatile size)
- XL · 16–27" head: Large to giant breeds
Between two sizes? Size down for a snug fit — best for stressed dogs, muffles noise best and is harder to shake off. Size up for a relaxed fit — lets the ears breathe and keeps ears out of food and water bowls.
Puppies grow fast. Re-measure as they grow and size up when needed.
Always supervise your dog while they're wearing the Zen Wrap.
